Public schools are supposedly paid for by our taxes, yet our local school still needs additional funds to be submitted by parents. So far this year our grade 8 parents have been asked for:
- a $15 student fee – no note has arrived home about this, just a note in the agenda,
- a $20 sketch pad-no a dollar store sketch pad is not allowed
- watercolour pencils or watercolour crayons – not a watercolour pallet
